SyncBoard collects only the data necessary to provide the service: account information (name, email, hashed password), usage telemetry (page loads, feature interactions — no message content), and billing details for paid customers.
We do not sell or share user data with third parties for advertising. We do share aggregated, anonymised usage data with our analytics provider (PostHog, self-hosted in EU).
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time via the in-app settings or by emailing privacy@syncboard.app. Deletion is processed within 30 days.
Messages and project data are retained for the duration of the active subscription, plus 90 days after cancellation for restoration purposes. After that, data is permanently deleted.
